Trip to Goa

I spent this new year's eve in Goa, with my cousin who works there in Park Hyatt. This was my first ever visit to Goa. It is funny that I had stayed in Mumbai for 4 yrs and yet never visited Goa during that 'cool' college period. Guess I feel comfy spending only my own money and not my father's ! Anyways, the trip was nice, wholesome and adventurous. We went to many beaches and spent the transition period(12'o clock) at a trance bar on top of a hill near anjuna beach. The only problem was that everything was awfully expensive during that time, and a word of caution for future vacationers : unless you have really deep pockets, stay away from Goa at New year's time. Also, take journey bookings way in advance coz there is a serious crunch for accomodation and buses due to large inflow/outflow of tourists. But , the people out there on the beaches are a treat to watch. I guess the intelligent ones will get it. ;-)
